Hooray for paints -- April 29, 2009

Today we did fingerpainting outside on the patio. It was a blast!! The girls had so much fun and were excited to name off the different colors.

by the way, my kids are 19 months old today- happy b-day girls!!

I was chatting online "all day with babes" b/c that's how I roll (oh but wait, that was after I sat on my butt all day watching soaps and eating bon bons, right??) but I digress.......

Anyway, I was chatting and turned around to see this sight. I had my camera right there so I snapped a few pics. She took her chair from the living room and wanted to get up to the countertop. I knew that they would be climbing b/c their pedi told me so but I didn't think that meant THIS!! I have a feeling I'm screwed!!

A spa day -- April 27, 2009

I needed a break REALLY bad today and my feet have been hurting so I went for a pedicure. My feet felt like MAGIC when I was done and I was so happy to have happy feet! I got a cute pink polish put on and Vicki went crazy looking at my toes. She LOVED it. So, after she threw a fit b/c she didn't want what I made for dinner (I'm sensing a pattern here-uh oh!), I painted her toenails while she sat in her booster seat. She LOVED it and kept pointing to both our toes.

Two by two - April 26, 2009

so in the house and outside the house we have everything in 2s. 2 ride on toys parked next to 2 balls, 2 strollers, 2 potties, 2 pairs of sandals, 2 pairs of shoes and 2 lounge chairs. Noah certainly had a LOT of stuff if he had 2 of everything on that ark!! We are approaching DOUBLE TROUBLE days!!

Dinner in a bottle -- April 25, 2009

Vicki decided she didn't want to eat what I made for dinner so she sucked down her sippy of milk before bed. This is what she did with it once she got towards the bottom. I love you too dear!

Music Together -- April 24, 2009

The girls love the show "Jack's Big Music Show" on the Noggin channel. We have DVRed a bunch of the episodes and they LOVE all the music. I've bought some of the albums from some of the musicians to play in the car too! Well, Sean pulled out his guitar to see if he could play some of the chords from the songs. Even though this was their second intro to the guitar, they were both still fascinated with it. I have shots of each of them with the guitar but I thought this was cool b/c it has both in it.

Daddy's little girl -- April 23, 2009

Sean came home wearing his station uniform b/c he went to an offsite meeting. Vicki is SOOO into boots right now so it was perfect that Sean had his boots. I didn't take this shot but I had to add it to the blog- its just too precious!

Ring around the Rosie -- April 22, 2009

They love ring around the rosie now. Sometimes its just me with one girl, sometimes me with the other but today it was both of them and NOT me. :) It was really cute. I tried to get video but my camera was closer!

Fun in the cage - April 21, 2009

We keep Cooper's dog cage in the garage now b/c he doesn't chew my car anymore. (Thank you Cooper!) The girls took an instant liking to it and keep jumping in and shutting the door. Its pretty comical.

We've got a TON of wind here today. The dead palm fronds on our trees are falling down on the driveway. Our landlord is contacting a tree service to have them clean this up and trim the rest of the dead fronds.

Happy Birthday Sean- April 13, 2009

Today is Daddy's birthday. We celebrated with Carrot Cake and tried to buy him a new phone.

The girls got new strollers which they LOVE!!! Here's our stroller parking at home. LOL!

Easter Day- April 12, 2009

We took the girls to church today. They "sat" with us during worship up til the sermon and we moved to the Family Room. The audio didn't work in the room so we moved to the balcony. After a while, we took them to the nursery to just introduce it to them. They did ok.

I also got potties for both girls since they are showing interest in PT. I bought 2 since I didn't want to deal with fights over one potty.

PJ day -- April 10, 2009

Because we have been so busy and because Sami's ear infection still isn't gone away, we did an indoor pajamas only day today. (plus the hot water heater pilot light keeps going out) It was fun but tiring by the end of the day. Here we are showing off our big bellies!!

A fire department day -- April 7, 2009

Sean had a treadmill service call to do out in Santa Cruz so we thought we would go to the beach with the girls and the dog. Turns out it poured buckets of rain when we got there so we turned it into a visit to Sean's firehouse. The girls had a great time in the engine. Even Cooper was a happy dog!!

A lesson in Dinosaurs -- April 6, 2009

Just for fun I pulled out the dinosaur stickers we got at the Easter Egg Hunt. The girls were very interested in them but only after I started sticking them on my face and in my hair. That was all it took for Sami to go to town! :)

Stroller Heaven -- April 5, 2009

This stroller is THE HOT item in the house right now. They fight over this like cats and dogs. It was 10 bucks at Walmart. Sean even went back to Walmart to get another but they didn't have one. LOL! The Cabbage Patch doll was mine when I was a little girl. They like playing with it now!

First Easter Egg hunt -- April 4, 2009

Our twins club hosted an Easter egg hunt for the kids. We had it at the park and did the whole picnic lunch too. It was fun! Sami liked gathering the eggs and Vicki liked opening them up to see what was inside them!

I cleaned up all the toys and then I was beat so as I was getting ready for bed and trying to figure out what to take my pic of today, I bumped into this on our bed. Clearly, they like taking toys with them when they climb up onto our bed to play with our cats.

Just gave the girls a bath and as I'm dressing Sami who already pooped in the bathtub, I come out to the living room to find a naked Vicki and this. Boy, do I wish this was a joke! Even my dog looks like, "hey, that was NOT me!!"

My green thumb -- March 31, 2009

I planted my vegetable garden today. Cherry tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, broccoli, peppers and cucumbers. They are the ones I like and ones that I can get the girls/Sean to eat so that's what I did. Didn't have any dividers so I used oranges from the orange tree we have. LOL! Can't wait til the veggies start popping up!
