I think these were actually grown from seed as well but I'm so excited that I've got broccoli. Who would have thought??

What a tah-ma-tah! -- June 24, 2009
Ahhhh...... my cherry tomatoes. I planted 2 seedlings and they are morphing into a massive tomatofest. Sami loves the smell of the plant too- its cute. She was looking at them and unbeknownst to me, picked 3 little guys. Not to worry, I think I will be able to feed a small army with the bazillion left over! :)
Peter peter pumpkin eater -- June 23, 2009
I highlight my pumpkins today. While some pumpkins within this one plant patch are about the size of a golfball, this love is the size of one of those small watermelons ALREADY! The girls and I look at this one's growth each day. Even though my girls were born early at the end of September, I still consider them October babies and my little pumpkins!! Can't wait til we can decorate these babies!!
Backyard fit for 3 princesses -- June 22, 2009
So the girls have their play structure and kiddie pool which they are using more and more frequently and mine is that massive green thing in the background. Next few days pics will be my veggies. I am so proud of them. Its amazing the satisfaction you get from watching something you planted grow and yield fruit (or in this case veggies) I guess my green thumb is NOT with flowers but with veggies that originate as seedlings in my hands. I tried growing from seed and the only thing that took is the massive cucumber spread I have-- almost too massive though. I had to cut it WAY back though when we got home from CT b/c it was just too overgrown and crowding out my peppers-- NOBODY messes with my peppers. LOL!
Open for business -- June 21, 2009
I've really been wanting to tackle the garage and get rid of old junk, sell off some baby/hockey stuff, and make it an organized space with room to move. Mostly, I want to be able to park my minivan in it so that when it gets crazy hot out, I can at least save a little gas by not running the AC for 5 min prior to any of us getting into it. Well, I'm happy to say that Sean and I accomplished this task after a lot of sweat. It still needs work but at least its functional now. :)

Can you say Southpaw?? -- June 20, 2009
The little computer we have has a mouse pad that can move to either side of the keyboard. I usually keep it to the right since we are righties. Hmmmmm....... not so sure we all are righties now. I didn't move it for her either- she did it on her own. She's been using the fork and spoon in her left hand too.

Its starts with the boys now -- June 7, 2009
Today was my sister-in-law's (SIL) son's graduation. Derek graduates from high school next weekend but we celebrated it today. Catered food, a DJ with dancing-- lots of fun. The girls absolutely LOVED dancing to the music. They also had fun with my SIL's brother seen here. They adored him and ran around all weekend long yelling "JASON" "JASON" It was cute! I felt bad though b/c the girls were pretty scared of Derek (b/c of his hair) but he was a trooper and kept trying over and over again! Congrats to Derek!!
Fun at my brother's house -- June 6, 2009
Playing with dolls -- June 3, 2009
The girls spent the morning taking care of their baby dolls. First we dressed them, fed them breakfast in the booster seats, then we rocked them in the rocking chair, and finally here we put them down for a nap in the pack n play. It was really cute to see how well they know their stuff when it comes to caring for someone else. Of course as soon as they dropped the babies into the crib, they wanted them RIGHT back! :)

First Petting Zoo -- June 1, 2009
One of the agricultural farms near my parents had a "petting zoo" with a bunch of atypical animals (kangaroo, ostrich, bison, etc) They did have sheep, cows, goats and turkeys. It was the first time the girls saw any animals other than the pics in the books. This picture is their reaction. LOVE IT!!
What Poppa wants, Poppa gets -- May 31, 2009
My dad is doing EXCELLENT even though he's got stage 4 lung cancer. He eats what he wants, when he wants it. The girls call him Poppa. Its super cute. He's initiated them into the finer workings of sweets- ice cream being his (and now their) favorite. (Remind me to post about the orange sherbet some day!!)
We were all gathered round the table getting ready to play dominoes again when we decided to load up on sweets! Dad wanted his ice cream and a slice of pizza.
I finally did it!! -- May 30, 2009
Lindy Farms and the horses -- May 26, 2009
My parents house is close to a horse farm and my dad has been wanting to bring the girls there for quite some time. Today we finally went and it was perfect!! Its foaling season they told us so there were 2 moms and 2 foals in each paddock that we went by. There must have been at least 20 horses just in our view!! We all loved it. The moms were pretty friendly and the babies were just darling- some were super friendly and others were shy or nervous.
I'm posting this pic of my dad and Vicki (I'm sure my mom will get upset) because of the continuing of generations. Vicki is just like me and I'm just like my dad.
